Imbabura is a province in Ecuador. The capital is Ibarra. The people speak Imbabura Quechua language.
The province is divided in 6 cantons.

Imbabura Volcano is located in the province. It is 4609m high and best reached from the town La Esperanza. It can be climbed in a single day.
