- UE, CV - even though this is listed as PD-self, it appears to be a photoshopped screenshot from a film. As such, it violates our fair use guidelines since it is not used in any articles. — Crotalus horridus (TALK • CONTRIBS) 00:24, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

- Likely copyright violation. The camera's point of view is impossible for a fan, so unless this guy works for the Associated Press, this is probably a copyvio. From his talk page, he has a history of bad images. — Wafulz 15:13, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

- The SVG file seems to violate the criteria for fair use, specifically criterion #3 that "Low-resolution images should be used instead of high-resolution images (especially images that are so high-resolution that they could be used for piracy)." If I am missing something, tell me; in the event that I am not, delete the SVG file and keep the PNG file. --Iamunknown 19:05, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

- Image:ALWhiteSoxLogo2.PNG was created to replace the SVG file for use in the White Sox infobox. The SVG file looks horrible aesthetically in that place. Silent Wind of Doom 04:19, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

- The SVG can be made smaller if that is a problem. I was under the impression that SVG was preferable to PNG. — Steven Andrew Miller (talk) 04:32, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
- You are correct that SVG is preferred when dealing with digital images that are representations or composites of geometric figures. The problem as I see it is that SVG files, since they are in a vector format, can be scaled to very large proportions without any loss of quality (inasmuch as the file is formatted correctly). Thus, even though they are superior in quality, they fail criterion #3. --Iamunknown 05:02, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
