The WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter is starting up an interview segment that has been in the works for some time now. The current schedule for interviews can be seen here. If you would like to submit a question for an interviewee, please do so by following the instructions here. We are accepting questions for any future interviews. If you would like to sign up to be interviewed, then you may do so here. We hope that this segment will be one of the most popular this project's newsletter has to offer, and promote a greater sense of community amongst the project members. The first interview will be published in next week's issue, and will be with TJ Spyke. In other matters, we are still running low on current events. If you know of any in the wrestling world that you believe merit mention in the newsletter, or wish to comment on any other aspect of the newsletter, then please contact us here. Thanks everyone, and enjoy the holiday season.

If you would like to be interviewed for a future issue, go to the newsletter's talk page and apply there. We still need people to contact us about current events. Happy New Year!
The Chronic has given you a bottle of Cristal! Cristal costs $350, and hopefully this bottle has made your New Year's Day better. Spread the spirit of the New Year by giving a bottle of Cristal to someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Happy editing!
Give a bottle of Cristal to someone else by adding {{subst:User:The Hybrid/Finger}} to their talk page with a friendly... wait...
Thanks
Happy New Year to you too! Gavyn Sykes (talk) 21:54, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, I hope you have an excellent New Year as well! Kris (talk) 01:16, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

RE: help with signature
Hi. Sorry if I'm intruding, but I know how to fix your sig so it'll work: you have an extra code in the signature that won't work. Here, try this: [[User:Hardyboyz27|<font color="red">'''iMat'''</font>]][[User talk:Hardyboyz27|<font color="orange">'''thew'''</font>]]
. The Chronic 18:48, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, and BTW, do you know change your username at WP:CHU? Just thought you should know, in case you want to also technically change your username as well. The Chronic 18:57, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
-
- Damn Chronic you beat me! lol
- Chronic's way works as well but it will be much easier if you just go to your preferences and put in this code "User:Hardyboyz27/Signature". Your signature is created on that page and what ever you do to your signature on that page will always appear in your preferences and whenever you sign. Also Do Change you username, as it will fit you well. --TrUcO9311 TaLk / SiGn 19:05, 12 January 2008 (UTC)----
-
To make things short, click on this link. Replace CURRENT with your current username (Hardyboyz27), replace NEW with the new username you want (IMatthew, capaitalize the "I" as well, as for technical reasons; we can lowercase it later), fill out why you want the name change, and save the page. The Chronic 19:07, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
Yes, I did that. First of all, I put some new tabs at the top of your page (with "contributions", "e-mail" and "edit count"), which may come in handy in the future. Second, I put in the lowercase thing, so that when your username change takes place, the first letter of your username (i) will be lowercase. Just put that beforehand. The Chronic 02:53, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well, the name change should come whenever any of the bureaucrats are avalible, since they're the ones with the ability to change usernames [be patient. I had to wait a while to change my username (I used to be MITB LS, FYI)]. As for your userpage: would you like a boxed userpage style (like Truco9311 and Tiptoety)? That's the regular style I do, and I'd probably do it in your sig color scheme. The Chronic 03:22, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
Don.e Although as before, the link won't work until the name change. For reference, the guestbook is located right here. BTW, I won't be avaible for the next 5 hours.... so if you have any questions, I won't be able to answer them (for the next 5 hours). Cheers, The Chronic 1:6:24, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- Here are the solutions to your questions:
- I fixed the links to your contributions, e-mail and edit count.
- I put in {{lowercase}} in the nav. That should mean the "i" should be lowercase wherever the navigation bar displayed. If it isn't, you may have to purge the page cache (that is coming...). Do realize that your username is still technically capitalized (in places like contribs, edit count, the web address, etc.)
- To update the time, purge the cache of the page (or for short, update the page). If you click on any of the big numbers on the clock (the date, in which case right now, you should clock the "13" or "14")
You're already in the other users list. You're just in the right column. As for more info... I don't know. See my userboxes to get an idea on what other UBXs you can display. The Chronic 23:15, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
Re: WWE Roster
Yeah but what I was doing was adding references to the superstars and Lex was adding tables. What do you mean it needs clean up? That's how a "BIG" list is suppose to look like..lol.--TrUcO9311 TaLk / SiGn 01:18, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
RE: Name change
Sorry, I would have answered sooner but I've been really busy lately. I didn't change your name for you, because to be quite honest, I'm not 100% sure how, so I think that should be left up to the admins who specialize in it. I see it has been taken care of, though. :) If you need anything else, just drop me a line. Nikki311 02:36, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
RE: Hmm..
I personally don't mind if you join, but you would have to ask both Truco and Blue first. =D Cheers, LAX 14:54, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think they'll have a problem with you joining. The Kliq was originally "The Clan" and intended for Blue and I only, but we ended up letting Truco in. Cheers, LAX 15:02, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- If you do join, would you be willing to help us with our first project? Cheers, LAX 15:07, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- Great. So how's Chronic's teaching? Cheers, LAX 15:13, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- I see. Quick question: would you ever what to become an admin before you leave wikipedia? Cheers, LAX 15:31, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- Definitely, but there are some concerns I have: 1) I feel it's too much responsibility for me, 2) I don't have anyone to nominate me (I wouldn't like to nominate myself), and 3) I feel like if I make one mistake, it could end up costing me in the long hall. Cheers, LAX 15:41, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks that really means alot to me. If you would like to nominate me, you may whenever you want, just inform me before you do. BTW, thanks for the source on SS '02, I plan on expanding it further later today. Cheers, LAX 15:52, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- I don't mind. You can learn from us as we are experienced Wiki users and you will end up as one as well =)TrUcO9311 TaLk / SiGn 15:57, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

- Huh? I'll fix that. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 00:53, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. That's what Truco said too. First, I'll get his opinions and fix them, add the article for a Peer review and see what happens after that. How 'bout Unforgiven (2006)? What are your opinions in the article? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:48, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

The Pit Bulls
I agree they should be in AFD. They didn't do anything as a team, and certainly don't need a Wikipedia article. They fall in the same category as most other teams that were deleted in the past. Also: K.C. James and Idol Stevens probably could do as well, they didn't do anything in WWE either. The article states they were disbanded this year, but technically they were done in November of 06 when McCool was off televison. RobJ1981 (talk) 00:20, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- I will probably nominate both of them later if I don't see an AFD tag on them already. The wrestling project is usually a good place to find out if it's notable or not, but at other times it's not. RobJ1981 (talk) 00:28, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
Portal
Perhaps it would be better to let a bot handle this. TJ Spyke 01:09, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- I've made a request at WP:BOTREQ. I know you might not mind, but there are literally thousands of articles that are covered under our project, even using AWB, it would take several hours to manually add the portal (bots can add it to dozens of articles every minute). - It was. But, yeah, as long as we keep up with the info. for the article, were good to go. Any suggestions on what should be another collaboration for the Kliq? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 00:32, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

- You're welcome. Due to the fact, that I'm probably the longest here in Wikipedia since it'll be 2yrs. in November, I need to spread my "knowledge" on to the newbies. ;) -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:28, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- It means I will help you out, whenever you are in need of an answer. Does that answer it? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:33, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I hope you got it. Or to clarify; you know the term when the veteran superstar helps out newcomers to succeed in the business. Example: Shawn Michaels lost to John Cena at WrestleMania 23. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 01:41, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- Alright, tomorrow we get serious with SS. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 02:01, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- Awesome, just what we needed; and yes, I too believe Hornswoggle's article could use some help. BTW, sorry I didn't reply sooner. I was busy the whole day and never got the chance to get on. Cheers, LAX 04:09, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

- 1 thing that stands out is adding move by move in the matches, the way u write it is ok and doesnt entirely list move by move events but I recommend you just sum up the match, like in December to Dismember (2006) and in No Way Out (2004), etc. But other than that it's ok.--TrUCo9311 17:50, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

- I would add pics, but I wouldn't want to "mess up" the article. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 20:14, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- That's just my opinion. I'll add some, don't worry. -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 20:24, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes, I am a fan of Hornswoggle. I just think he's so funny and I love how he's being using to make Finlay face! Thank you for the userbox, I did take it! NiciVampireHeart (talk) 18:34, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- Oh really? You're so lucky; I'd love to meet a wrestler especially one of my heroes like the Hardys or Y2J but I live in Ireland, and anytime the WWE comes over I can't go to the event, or it's in Belfast which is only about a 7 hour trip from my house!! ;( NiciVampireHeart (talk) 18:44, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
