Data in this article are true to the best of my knowledge. I would like to expand this article to include more related information regarding Data fusion. Please contribute or discuss about this article, if you are interested. This is my first article. So I would like to accept any suggestion regarding this article.

It is my understanding that data for mapping systems like Curious and Google Earth use satellite data like this; elevation, contour, geographic and texture can all be combined. --Knulclunk 11:35, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Data fusion is totally different from image and information fusion

I do believe that data fusion is totally different. In fact the fusion systems has several levels like data, information, sensor, and image fusion. I agree with you n the part that the whole thing should be restructured may be in four or five articles.
