The Imam Khomeini International University is a university in Iran, offering both undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Located in the Northwest of Tehran in the city of Qazvin in Qazvin Province, IKIU and its surrounding communities provide a cultural and recreational environment suited to the work of a major research institution.

The school was first established as The Institute of Higher Education of Dehkhoda (مجتمع آموزش عالي دهخداي قزوين). The institute was upgraded to university status and changed its name to Imam Khomeini International University in 1993.

IKIU offers 180 Bachelors degrees, and 200 Masters degrees, and admits 400 students from abroad for Persian language studies and other fields, some technical. Currently the university houses 550 International students.;fine
