Imagination Games is a multi-platform game company that creates, produces and distributes interactive entertainment. It has developed socially interactive games across a number of formats including traditional games and puzzles, DVD and mobile.

Founded 23 years ago in Adelaide, Australia, by Shane Yeend, Imagination Games pioneered the concept of “Interactive entertainment” within the board game industry. Utilizing patented DVDi technology, DVD Game Pro, Imagination Games changed the way consumers can play games. Currently, it holds licenses to some of the hottest titles in entertainment and can be found in over 85,000 retail outlets worldwide. Most notably, Imagination Games is home to last year’s number one selling DVD game in the US, Deal or No Deal, featuring Howie Mandel.

Shane Yeend is the CEO and founder of Imagination International Corporation. He created the concept and foundation of Imagination, “interactive entertainment” by combining social game interaction with television and DVDs. In the last six years, Shane has transformed DVD games into a brand-new $400MM global entertainment consumer category. Since its conception, Imagination has grown to a $150MM business, with products available worldwide.

Imagination Entertainment has partnered with Universal Pictures (UK). Today the companies announced a multiple game distribution deal to optimize the consumer DVD game category in the UK . The Imagination and Universal partnership will diversify the DVD game industry by introducing a range of new DVD game titles and types to retailers.

In July 2007, Imagination Games and uWink, a developer of digital entertainment software and an interactive restaurant concept, announced a game distribution agreement. The agreement states that Imagination’s “Fact or Crap” game will be added to uWink’s restaurant tabletops. This game will be in addition to the current tabletop selection of trivia games, horoscopes, movie trailers and more. uWink customers will be able to play "Fact or Crap" via uWink's touch screen terminals located at every table. In addition to being able to play the game while you eat, uWink will also be providing their patrons with the option of purchasing the "Fact or Crap Beat Da Bomb" DVD game and other Imagination games.

Imagination Games and Granada Ventures have announced a licensing deal for the Catchphrase DVD game. The DVD game will feature the host Roy Walker who hosted the television version. The game will be available for purchase in October 2007. The game is for 2 to 4 players, ages 8+.

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment and Imagination Games did a national promotion for Valentines’s Day. The promotion brought awareness to a variety of Fox catalog titles for Valentine's Day. Consumers who bought one of Fox's Valentine's Day DVDs along with an Imagination Games' Battle of the Sexes board game received a $3 off coupon.
