Imadate, Fukui

Imadate (今立町 Imadate-chō?) was a town located in Imadate District, Fukui Prefecture, Japan. On October 1, 2005 Imadate merged with the city of Takefu to form the new city of Echizen.

As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 13,469 and a density of 296.48 persons per km². The total area was 45.43 km².
