Srikakulam is the one Northiest costal district of Andhrapradesh, out of 23 Districts.The population of the district is about 25 lakhs.It has 38 mandals and 4 municipalities
In the Srikakulam there are five IMA branches are present:-
1.Palasa, 2.Rajaam, 3.Sompeta, 4.Srikakulam, 5.Tekkali.
IMA means "Indian Medical Association",and is a Country wide Association.The main purpose of this association is CME(continuous Medical Education ,getting together,Solving the local Professional problems,helping the public in Natural calamities,etc.
About IMA : Indian Medical Association is the only representative, national voluntary organisation of Doctors of Modern Scientific System of Medicine, which looks after the interest of doctors as well as the well being of the community at large.
