iloog is a Gentoo-based Live CD-type computer operating system, focused at serving the needs of students and academic environments. The Live CD includes a minimalistic graphical environment based on Fluxbox and ROX-Filer, together with a plethora of scientific/academic applications like GNU Octave, NAMD, Merlin, full LaTeX support and development tools for several programming languages including C, Java, Python, Ruby, Haskell and Perl.
