The Israel News Agency (INA), also known as the Israel Internet News Agency, is an Israel-based English language web site that distributes local news, editorials and news feeds from the Israel Government Press Office.[1]

The INA describes itself as "Israel's first on-line news agency", claiming to have been established 1995.[1] However, the agency has only operated its current web site (www.israelnewsagency.com) since 2000.[2] Prior to that, Leyden distributed a number of INA news releases on Usenet at least since 1997.[3]
