I haven't done the research to be sure how (or if) 29 moves from Adams Street to Washington Street downtown before crossing the Cedar Street Bridge. Could be confusing if it's not added. --Closeapple 10:15, 2005 Mar 14 (UTC)

I would wait to see how IL 29 is rerouted after the Upgrade 74 project is done before editing anything. ---Rob 20:35, 15 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] IL 31 after 24?

How is Illinois 31 the next route after Illinois 24? —Rob (talk) 15:28, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

It's not. This is the article for Illinois 29; Illinois 24 was decommissioned, and now the Illinois 24 article redirects to Illinois 29. Omnedon 15:51, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
Right... so I understand the US 24 being prior. What about IL 25 or US 30? —Rob (talk) 16:03, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
I restored the old version. As I look at it, it seems like the "previous_route" should be ILL 26, and the "next_route" should be "U.S. 30 in Illinois" (as is currently in the top set of browse links). But then why is there a second set of browse links under that, and a reference to ILL 24 (which doesn't exist any longer)? Perhaps the second set of links (the "browse" tag) should just be removed. But again, perhaps there is a purpose here which I'm missing. Omnedon 17:02, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
