Ilkka Suominen

Ilkka Suominen (born 8 April 1939, Nakkila) is a Finnish National Coalition politician and former member of the European Parliament.
Positions held by Suominen include:
- Member of the European Parliament (EPP): 1999-2004
- Speaker of the Parliament of Finland: 1987, 1991-1994
- Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE: 1992-1994
- Minister of Trade and Industry: 1987-1991
- Chairman of the National Coalition Party: 1979–1991
