Ilchester School consists of the junior school and the infant school. Both are separate. Each school has a deputy head of year. The Headmaster is Mr. Jay.
The Junior School has 4 houses : Griffon, Dragon, Wyvern and Unicorn. Each has Heads of houses and deputy heads. The Year 6 students take on the role of heads of the houses by being voted by the rest of the school.
