Pre-College: Ilana Davidi grew up in Massachusetts. She was very active, eventually captaining her high school softball and basketball teams, playing soccer, and managing the football teams. Her primary academic interest was creative writing, and she also loved mathematics.
College: Davidi attended Dartmouth College where she majored in English with a minor in Environmental Science. While at Dartmouth, she managed the football team, taught 3-5 aerobics classes a week, and was very active in managing dorm life. She spent one year as an Undergraduate Advisor (an RA with no policing; more advisory) in Wheeler, and her Senior year as an Area Coordinator (running two dorms, including budget and activities) for Wheeler/Richardson.
Professional: Davidi worked for two years with Fusion Systems Group in Boston, which was eventually aquired by San Francisco-based Context Integration. She left there to work for CNNSI.com, where she stayed for several years, with a brief foray to iXL. She now works for a large defense firm.
Current: In addition to working full-time, Davidi attends MIT and Sloan's System Design and Management program, and is working towards her master's degree in system design and management.
