[edit] Philosophical positions

I contacted Ms. Mercer to provide an image for this article (which she kindly provided) - she also included the following statement, provided here for authors wishing to further expand the article:

"Please note that very little is said in the entry about my well-developed philosophical positions, analytical argumentation—much of which are quite original. For example, I’m a Szaszian, for sure, but my focus is quite different from Szasz’s: he defends the rights of the “mentally ill”; much of my work is dedicated to exposing the medicalization of misbehavior, and consequently, the eradication of free will, responsibility, and, ultimately, the eradication of right and wrong."
