Il nuovo dizionario filippino (English: The New Philippine Dictionary) is a bidirectional Italian-Tagalog/Filipino dictionary written and edited by Dominador Limeta, and the first of its kind ever published. As it is still in its first edition, there exist quite a few pronunciation key inconsistencies, particularly in the indication of closed and open vowels sounds, and errors in the introductory grammar pages, such as ‘energe’ being given as the plural form of energia. Diacritic marks are also occasionally missing, such as in the cases of ‘difficolta’, ‘oggettivita’, and ‘cioe’.
