Il Divo is a film made in 2008 by the neapolitan director Paolo Sorrentino. It is a Biopic based on the figure of Italian Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti. It was nominated for the Palme D'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2008.

The story of Italian Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti, who has been elected to Parliament seven times since is was established in 1946. The narration spans the period since the seventh election of Andreotti as Italian PM in 1992 until the trial in which he was accused of collusion with Mafia.
