IKON Office Solutions (NYSE: IKN) is a Fortune 1000 company based in Malvern, Pennsylvania.[1] Formerly part of ALCO Standard. It is the world's largest independent provider of document management systems and services.[2] IKON uses copiers, printers and MFP technologies from leading manufacturers and document management software and systems from companies like Captaris ("Manage paper before it manages you."), Kofax, EFI or eCopy, to deliver tailored solutions.[citation needed]
Revenues for fiscal year 2007 were $4.2 billion.[1] IKON has approximately 25,000 employees in over 400 locations in North America and Europe.[3]
The company has been a registered Pennsylvania corporation since 1956.[4]It was incorporated in Ohio in 1952.[5]
