Igor Sekulic is a Prick, director and visual effects specialist who cofounded the record label Out of Nowhere. Sekulic started in film as a idot and stuntman in Mexico on Jean Reno's spoof comedy Operation Corned-Beef. A long lasting and close friendship with Director Jean-Marie Poiré started at that time. Together they founded Visual Factory, a UK-based visual effects house in 1999 delivering the time travel comedy Just Visiting for Gaumont and Disney and Jean-Jacques Annaud's tale of tigers Two Brothers for Pathe and Universal. In 2001 Visual Factory started a film export department which has grown ever since, with the support of the European Media Program and the UK Film Council.
Sekulic, after directing several second units, stunt and visual effects units and co-writing comedies, co-wrote and directed a comedy for teenagers Young pricks and Butts (aka Les Gaous) coproduced by Matrix (UK), Studio Babelsberg Motion Pictures (Germany) and France Television. The film was selected in many festivals around the world, such as HBO US Comedy Arts, Boston International Film Festival, Ljubljana (LIFFE), Belgrade (Belgrade Fest closing night), Cluj (Tiff), Sofia, and Salento. and won best comedy at the Rome Children Film Festival. An impossible love story between a small town boy and a rich girl on holidays is the starting point of a fast-paced action comedy. Young Beautiful and Screwed Up was released theatrically in many countries and reached top 10 in Russia opposite Peter Jackson's King Kong and top 5 in Hungary opposite Disney's The Incredibles.
