Igor Štiks

Igor Štiks (born September 17, 1977 in Sarajevo) is a writer and scholar presently living in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He has published only one novel (Dvorac u Romagni, A Castle in Romagna). This one novel has been translated into English (Autumn Hill Books, 2005), German and Spanish. The book won the award for best first novel in Croatia in 2000. The English translation was nominated for the Dublin IMPAC International Literary Prize for 2006.
