To use this template, you must place the following in the "External links" section of an article:
*{{IGN|type=<type>|id=<id>|name=<title>}}
To find a valid 'type' value:
- Go to IGN and search for the game. Once you have found the result, go to its page and copy the platform you see in the adress bar before '.ign'.
To find a valid 'id' value:
- Go to IGN and search for the game. Once you have found the result, go to its page and copy the 9 digit number (including the slash) from the address bar.
Example:
- {{IGN|type=pc|id=003/003230|name=Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness}}
- Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness at IGN
