Ignatius Nuh of Lebanon

Mor Ignatius Nuh of Lebanon was the Syriac Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch from 1493 to 1509. He was a convert to orthodoxy from Maronitism. He was ordained a priest and then became metropolitan of Homs in 1480 with the name Cyril. He became the Maphryono of the East in 1489, and then became the Patriarch in 1493. he died at Homs on July 28, 1509.

He was a poet and a writer who wrote odes and verse pieces. [1]
