Ignatius Behnam of Hadl

Patriarch Barhnam of Hidl was the Syriac Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch during 1445—1454. He was a prolific poet and great writer. He became a monk at the Qartmin Monastery and was ordained a priest. He was elevated as a Maphrian in 1404 and was later made Patriarch.[1]
