Ignacio Handal

Ignacio Handal is the Director of Clinical Research for Harmonex Neuroscience. Handal graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology in 2003.

Handal has completed a myriad of clinical trials during his tenure at Harmonex. He began his career working as a Clinical Research Associate in Harmonex’s Neuroscience Research Division and now leads that division as the Director of Clinical Research. He oversees the initiation, regulatory documentation, contractual negotiations, and management of all clinical studies for Harmonex. He is responsible for the day to day oversite of all patients, study drugs, and studies for Harmonex. He was also instrumental in co-developing Harmonex's artificial intelligence mental health screening tool known as Clinicom.

Handal is working towards his doctorate in epidemiology and public health. He is a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and the Society for Neuroscience. Handal is also a published author of inspirational stories and poems.
