Europlast S.A. is a wholesale, family-run, importing company in Athens, Greece that has been in the market for over 35 years. Europlast S.A. is the first company to offer the TIR plastic sheet to the Greek market in 1972. The company’s main imports comprise of PVC products as well as other materials for numerous applications, from over 10 well-established European industries. Europlast S.A. has the exclusive rights of distribution of these products in Greece. There are two branches of the company in Greece, one in Athens and one in Thessalonica, which cater for the needs of the Greek market. The Athenian branch is located in the centre of the City in an area of 2,000 square metres, housing both the offices and the warehouse. There are 20 people employed by the Athens branch in addition to a sales force of five people who deal exclusively with the promotion and selling of the company’s products. 80% of the sales take place in Greece whereas a 20% of the imported products are sold to companies outside of the Greece, namely Cyprus and Israel. A further 10 people are employed within our Thessalonica branch. Europlast S.A. has a vast distribution network throughout Greece. The company owns two trucks for this purpose as well as having a long-standing collaboration with major transport companies throughout the country. For small scale distribution within the areas of Attica and Thessalonica the company is in possession of a series of distribution bikes that provide a practical alternative to deliveries within the cities. The company has approximately 2000 customers spanning the entire country. In addition we are in business with several companies in Cyprus. The company is currently in the process of expanding its distribution activity throughout the Balkans, an endeavour that commenced in early 2006.
