"If You Wanna Have Some Fun" was set to be the third single taken from Spice Girls' third album Forever and sports the old Spice Girls pop style rather than R&B like the rest of the Forever album features. Due to the cancellation of the album, the single was never released officially. However, the song fared well on MTV, where a promotional video was created by Virgin, showing different compiled clips of the girls throughout their career. There was the exclusion of Geri Halliwell in almost all clips, but there were two clips in the promotional video that featured her.

The single was leaked to clubs throughout Europe, UK, Australia and Canada.[citation needed]

If You Wanna Have Some Fun was to be the second single within the UK from Forever. However the single would have been the third throughout the rest of the world.
