If I Like It, I Do It was a cancelled single from Jamiroquai's debut album, Emergency on Planet Earth. It was released only in the UK as a promo CD. Today, the single is a rare collectible, even though an unknown number of discs were pressed. Several other Jamiroquai songs, most notably Revolution 1993, "Morning Glory", Everyday, Travelling Without Moving, and Soul Education, had the same fate, all being cancelled for unknown reasons and becoming available only as rare promos.
[edit] Mixes
- "If I Like It, I Do It" – 4:53
- "If I Like It, I Do It (extended mix)" – 6:58
- This version of the song is actually the original version, despite the "extended" suffix. It features additional piano, bass, drum and percussion solos. It was roughly cut at some points to remove the solos. Similar methods have been employed to cut down several other songs to more "rational" lengths, including When You Gonna Learn, Too Young to Die, and Travelling Without Moving. Listening to the original and the album versions back-to-back confirms this.
