"If'n I Was God" is a song from the film Tom Sawyer, written by Robert B. Sherman and Richard M. Sherman, and arranged by John Williams.
In the film the song is sung by Johnny Whitaker as "Tom".
The Sherman Brothers and John Williams share an Oscar nomination for "Best Music, Scoring Original Song Score and/or Adaptation and a Golden Globe nomination for Best Score for Motion Picture - Musical/Comedy.[1]
