[edit] High school years
Idris Price began his football career at Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, Connecticut. There, Idris led the infamous "Hit Squad '94" to a state championship trophy. That year, (his junior year) the Senators recorded an unheard of 9 shutouts throughout the season.
Unfortunately, in 1993, "Hit Squad '93" was ambushed by Chris "White Lightning" Silvestri and the NC Rams, who ran all over the Sens for almost 300 yards and a 28-0 victory. New Canaan fans added an "s" to the "hit squad" to make the name more fitting.
[edit] College years
Price attended the University of New Haven and was a two-year letterman in football. Idris was looking at top tier Division I-A schools for football, along the lines of Syracuse, Clemson, and Rutgers.
[edit] Pro years
Price was a member of the Super Bowl XXXVII champions, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following the 2002 NFL season. He entered the AFL with the Orlando Predators in 2004 with whom he played for 3 seasons. From there he went to the Philadelphia Soul (2007) and the New York Dragons(2008).
[edit] Coaching years
In the offseason of the AFL, Price gave back to the community by returning to his alma mater and coaching at McMahon. After watching Rob Trifone cross the border and begin coaching at Darien High School, Price followed in suit.
