[edit] Blocked

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for the next 48 hours because of making personal attacks. Wikipedia has a specific policy against making personal attacks, and you (as someone who, despite being a "new" editor, seems to think he knows all Wikipedia rules) should be aware of it. Please use the time to cool down and reconsider your recent editing patterns. Thanks. See the block log for more details. If you want to contribute constructively, you may return when the block expires. Thanks. ЯEDVERS 18:23, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your email

You asked why I...

1. Edited my new article within one minute of its creation

I was on recent changes patrol with about 1000 other editors.

2. Deleted my new article without fixing internal links that point to it

It was deleted under CSD-A3. This does not salt the earth against the appearance of an article that meets Wikipedia inclusion criteria from appearing at the location concerned.

3. Deleted my new article without notice

No notice is required under the criteria for speedy deletion.

4. Deleted my entire comment and not just the personal attack

The entire comment was easiest to revert. In fact, I never read the entire comment. I saw the word "asshole" and vaporised the comment under WP:NPA and the rules of my talk page as clearly posted. If you'd wanted me to read the comment, you wouldn't have finished it by attacking me personally, would you?

5. Blocked me from editing

WP:NPA, as you know.

Hope this helps. If you choose to return to Wikipedia when your block expires, and choose to return constructively, then I will welcome you. If you don't, well, you're one of hundreds we have to wave goodbye to each day for being too odd to edit here and I for one would say "'bye then!" ЯEDVERS 20:28, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
