Sandbox Header
Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Wikipedia:Tutorial (Editing)/sandbox. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Apology
Thank you but isn't the sand box like a test page? Anyways it wasn't my intention to do it. I apologize.
- I would say that Icestorm815 was mistaken when he gave you the warning regarding the sandbox. You are of course welcome to play in the sandbox, this was most likely a sincere mistake. I have also declined your request for page protection, as we do not use protection preemptively, I have removed the protection template from your userpage as it is not protect and the template is only for protected pages. Peace. (1 == 2)Until 19:00, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Vick's Chip
What happened to the edit history? Can that be fixed? Fritter (talk) 07:57, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- It was moved from "Vick's Chip" to "Vick's Chip (The Sarah Connor Chronicles)" If you want to see the history you should go to the "Vick's Chip" page. Please don't change it. Keep it with the #REDIRECT If you want to improve the page go to the new page. Thank you
-
- I don't really care that much, but I don't think this move was correct: see WP:TV-NAME where it says "For an article created about a single episode, add the series name in parentheses only if there are other articles by the same name."
- I think you should be able to do a move while keeping the edit history attached to the article.Fritter (talk) 18:30, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- You have a good point but if we were going to do that we would have to move all the episodes.
Protection of your userpage
The full, cascading protection request has been declined. If you would like your userpage semi-protected so that only established, logged in users can edit it, feel free to leave another request at WP:RFPP or leave a note on my talk page. - Rjd0060 (talk) 20:58, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Continental Divide vs. Continental divide
You should not rename the article Continental divide to Continental Divide because it is about continental divides in general, so it is not a name and therefore doesn't get capitalized (see WP:NC). -- P199 (talk) 15:38, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Pacman Jones
I'm going to have an admin move Adam "Pacman" Jones back to Pacman Jones. Whether or not it's his real name is irrelevant - it's his most common name and what he goes by. It is even how he is listed on NFL.com and the official Titans website. It's no different than someone like Tank Johnson or Sugar Ray Leonard. Wikipedia policy states that articles should be named the most common name, and in this case it is clearly Pacman Jones. Consider - a Google search of "Pacman Jones" bringings 550,000+ results. A search for "Adam Pacman Jones" brings only 163,000.►Chris NelsonHolla! 23:32, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
- Sure why not I guess it doesn't really matters what title the article has. iDosh! (talk) 23:33, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
SMHS
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to South Miami High School, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - Are you kidding? I wikified, updated and styled the page and uploaded an image. Please specify which part of the edit you think is vandalism. iDosh! (talk) 23:20, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

- Sorry, I didn't mean to revert ALL your stuff. But "Most of the user subscriptions at RootZoo.com come from SMHS's students" doesn't sound very encyclopedic to me. Channel ® 23:23, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

- An international sports site that depends mainly on subscriptions from students of ONE school? Doesn't that sound highly unlikely? Anyway, if you can't ref it, it's gotta go. Channel ® 23:29, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Samuel Webster
Hi. That was quick. Cheers, Jack Merridew 15:59, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I thought it was a vandal, I'm sorry iDosh! (talk) 16:00, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- Don't get too worked-up about being so fast to revert vandalism. Take a moment to assess. Once you're sure you're onto a serial vandal, undo anything questionable as fast as you reasonably can. Cheers, Jack Merridew 16:04, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
Fighting vandalism
Hi, thanks for helping deal with vandalism on Wikipedia. However, I think you made a mistake here, since the vandalism you warned about took place yesterday. Since it is a shared IP, the person using it today may be different from yesterday. If you have any questions please let me know. Regards, Accurizer (talk) 16:26, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- Wow, my apologies. I have the wiki stress extra high today. I will take a short break. iDosh! (talk) 16:28, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of I'minlikewithyou
A tag has been placed on I'minlikewithyou, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Rnb (talk) 22:35, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Cameron_mysterious.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Cameron_mysterious.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 02:28, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Image:Cameron_shutdown.jpg.jpg
I have tagged Image:Cameron_shutdown.jpg.jpg as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Wikipedia, it must be included in at least one article. If this image is being used as a link target instead of displayed inline, please add {{not orphan}} to the image description page to prevent it being accidentally marked as orphaned again. Melesse (talk) 02:28, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of MP3 Rocket
A tag has been placed on MP3 Rocket, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 76.18.28.232 (talk) 20:20, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Note on Vandalism
I'm not sure if you understand the meaning of vandalism, but labeling constructive edits that way is not good. If you don't want your stuff edited, don't post it, and please don't get angry when it gets reverted. It's probably taken off for a good reason. ColdFusion650 (talk) 14:13, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
- I don't know what the deal is, but please stop moving the Cameron Phillips article around. There was a proposed move on the talk page, but the concensus was to keep it like it was. When you did it the first time, I changed it back and said in the summary the exact same thing. Then you did it again, and reverted it again. Please don't move it again without a new concensus, or administrator is going to have to do some work on keeping it the way it is. ColdFusion650 (talk) 23:57, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

Blocked
Blocked: 55 hours for harassment. Your recent edits in MaxSem's userspace were particularly unseemly; don't repeat such behavior in the future. Revenge isn't a good motivator, and you shouldn't continue to disrupt Wikipedia to get your point across. Please contribute in a positive fashion once your block is lifted. east.718 at 18:04, April 26, 2008 |
Sidebar
Actually I do not know, it came with the Sidebar, if you fixed in the fourth gadget "Tepic, Mexico" I'm Mexican, so do not tell you know the name, could be downloaded from http://vista.gallery.microsoft.com / light / SideBar.aspx? mkt = en-us without spaces in the web address. : P. Image source problem with Image:JFK jr under resolute desk.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:JFK jr under resolute desk.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:33, 20 May 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Brianga (talk) 21:33, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
