[edit] Sources, etc

Thanks for your contributions. The welcome message at the top of this page gives you a general introduction to Wikipedia, but I thought would be helpful for you to have something a bit more tailored to your contributions. All the information you've been adding looks extremely useful, but at some point it will need to be backed with sources. Can you provide some sources for all the information you've been adding? See WP:V and WP:RS. WP:NOT is probably worth a glance as well. --Ronz (talk) 19:17, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Conflict of interest?

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. --Ronz (talk) 20:35, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Lean accounting. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your reference to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. [2] --Ronz (talk) 16:54, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Lean accounting. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Mayalld (talk) 14:17, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] February 2008

Hi, the recent edit you made to Lean accounting has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Lean accounting. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. claiming that a source is reproduced "with permission" is not sufficient Mayalld (talk) 12:34, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
