Talk:Identity 2.0
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I reviewed the list of companies and projects listed on the page and all of them are involved in the identity space and none would be considered "spam" or inappropriate to be listed by people in the identity space. For a recent list of companies/projects involved with user-centric identity see the Burton Group blog posting http://identityblog.burtongroup.com/bgidps/ on the User-Centric identity interop event at Catalyst Barcelona. Thus I think it's safe for someone from Wikipedia to remove the spam tag. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LoriP (talk • contribs) 19:34, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
This article proliferates a significant error, conflating identification with information. "The current internet model makes taking one's identification (information) difficult from site to site." It is not possible for me to work on this now. I hope someone else will. Joaquin 11 May 2007
I did some minor cleanup. I think the issue of unattributed claims has been sufficiently dealt with given the number of citations. LoriP 21:36, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
I'm concerned at the lack of references of this article. It appears to have been written from personal expierence and beliefs rather than from source-based research. If sources for the statements of each section (including the lead) can be introduced, that would be excellent. If not, I'm afraid that the article won't survive in the face of our verifiability and no original research policies. — Saxifrage ✎ 21:42, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
Not sure who the other contributors on this article, but I think for the most part this is a relatively accurate description of Identity 2.0. I'll add in some references for you. There's also some good diagrams that show how Identity 2.0 works by the Burton Group and by Web Services Journal, however they are copyrighted. I'll see if I can get permission to copy them for use in this article.
