Given that it's vastly superior to its counterpart on the de: encyclopedia (which seems more concerned with Bruce Willis, for some reason I can't quite fathom) then my answer is a resounding yes. -- Finlay McWalter | Talk 19:22, 5 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Idar-Oberstein (known in some circles as "The Gemstone Capital")

No, it IS the official Gemstone Capital and the centre of Gemstone industry. In our encyclopedia Idar-Oberstein is named as The German Capital of Gemstone Industry ... so I would strike out known in some circles.
