The Idaho Giant Salamander (Dicamptodon aterrimus) is a species of salamander in the Dicamptodontidae family. It is endemic to the United States. Its natural habitats are temperate forests, rivers, and freshwater marshes. It is threatened by habitat loss. The Idaho Giant Salamander also lives in Idaho.
