[edit] Converting to stub in lieu of WP:PROD

I'm now on take three on what to do with this article. Take one was performing typical WP:MOSDAB cleanup, which turned out to reveal that there isn't really anything to disambiguate (see below); take two was to propose for deletion. But what I've actually done is turn this into a stub for what the only articles that link to it are clearly referencing, which is a 1990s Texas software company. I'm not sure if it's notable, but if it's not, well, that just moves us to step two.

When I tried to salvage this as a dab page by adding the Texas company and cleaning up the others, I quickly found that none of the "others" really stand on their own:

  • Icon (computing) -- it's a stretch, but could go in "See also"
  • Unisys ICON -- not appropriate. No current links to this page expect that destination, and it's highly implausible someone would look for it by typing "ICON Computing"
  • ICON Computing Limited (Hungary) -- redlink, questionable notability, and no obvious useful bluelink
  • Icon Computing Pty Ltd -- same as above
  • Icon Computer Services -- same as previous two

So since that would basically leave us with "ICON Computing could refer to ICON Computing; see also Icon (computing)", that sounds a lot like a stub, so that's what I've done. Well, that and writing this note, which is a couple of orders of magnitude larger than the article. :-) --NapoliRoma (talk) 06:06, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
