Icon were an American heavy metal/glam metal band formed in 1981, disbanding in 1990.

Icon were formed in 1981 in Phoenix, Arizona, by Dan Wexler, Stephen Clifford, and Tracy Wallach.

In 1984, Icon released their first studio album, the self-titled debut, Icon.

In 1985, Icon released their second studio album, Night of the Crime.

In 1989, Icon released their third studio album, Right Between the Eyes.

Following the release of Right Between the Eyes and a supporting tour, Icon subsequently disbanded.
