[edit] Deletion Warning
[edit] AfD nomination of Professor Abdul Hakeem
I've nominated Professor Abdul Hakeem, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Professor Abdul Hakeem satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Professor Abdul Hakeem and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Professor Abdul Hakeem during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you.--Strothra 14:04, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Need your Help
I need support in editing the page for Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh from Pakistani-Wikipedians. The page concludes Pakistans link to 9/11 using information from Indian press and much information in that page is without proper references. The page says that ISI gives money to Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh and Sheikh then wired the money to Atta. I have checked some of the references on that page and information in the references is different from what is mentioned in it. I will appreciate any help because I have very less free time these days... Faisal 16:58, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Please list source, and avoid adding personal links
Thank you for your contribution to the article. Could you please list your source of information for the town being 2500 years old? Also, don't include personal links to wikipedia that are not related to the article. The link for Tulamba images is fine, but the other website was not (blogspot page was down, I removed it as well). Also, on pics, you may include your name, your website etc on the picture page, but not on the article page because it's not related to the article. Waqas.usman 01:54, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
Also, if Tulamba is a town in Punjab, only add it to the category Punjab, not to Pakistan. See this page and see the category tree: [1] On this page there are lists of cities in Punjab, list of cities in Sindh etc. You click on Punjab, and you'll see all cities in Category:Punjab, including Tulamba. I hope it's clear now, otherwise don't hestiate to ask me or any other editor. Waqas.usman 01:57, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Reply for waqas
In UrduDigest's "Sayyahat Number" 2001, there is an article on Multan whose one section contains information about Tulamba. There I read that, I will add more info about that later.
[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Ahmad_saeed.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Ahmad_saeed.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:15, 30 June 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 16:15, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Sayyed Ahmad Saeed Kazmi
Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Sayyed Ahmad Saeed Kazmi, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
