Ichigao, Kanagawa

Ichigao (市ヶ尾町 in Japanese) is a suburb of Tokyo located along the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line (田園都市線) as well as Freeway 246 in Kanagawa Prefecture. The ward office of Aoba-ku, Yokohama is also located here. To the North of the Ichigao Station, 10 min. on foot lies an Ichigao-iseki-kouen (市ヶ尾遺跡公園), a park with ancient tombs from the 6th century discovered in the 1930s.
