[edit] Rescuing material for merger

In the deletion discussion concerning Margaret Tyndal Winthrop, my point about the information in the article was answered by the suggestion that it be merged into Kerry's mother's article.

I copied the Winthrop article in case it were deleted, but unfortunately I suffered a hard-drive crash this week. I've lost the text. Your decision to delete it was inevitable, given that I was the only editor who understood that it should be kept, but would you be so kind as to exhume the text and email it to me? [edit] Immersive Education Deletion

Hi,

I've been trying to add an entry in Wikipedia to Immersive Education for the past couple of days.

I teach two classes at Boston College that employ this technology and will be having one of my classes making edits to my entry on Wednesday.

I have sent the appropriate information to Wikipedia (the author agreeing the to GNU Free Document License) and posted that on the Immersive Education talk page but it was deleted while I slept.

I was going to post again but am afraid that the same process will happen.

Can you offer any guidance or advice?

That would be a tragic mistake, as Aratta was locked for a week for the same reason and already the edit warring by this user has resumed. I feel that any changes should be proposed on the discussion page, and enacted by admins only if they are reasonable and have consensus, until parties agree to stop edit warring. Greetings - on February 22, my initial attempt to add her bio was marked for speedy deletion only less than 1 minute after I had submitted the initial entry, and then you deleted it outright within a minute or so later. I had no time to respond to the comment made on my talk page to add a tag to avoid speedy deletion, and now must recreate the entire entry. Very recently I discovered that the user who marked my entry - ukexpat - is NOT an official administrator. Another administrator has encouraged me to reenter the biography stub, and am letting you know in advance. [edit] Deleted Article

On February 1, 2008, the article entitled Gameplasma was deleted. As you are one of the admins on the list for getting the text for review, I was wondering if there was a way I could see the article because I think that either it was wrongly deleted, or I can fix it to make it acceptable. I'm not quite sure what I should do as far as this matter is concerned, so I figured I would just ask you.
