- Hello, I didn't get any reply for my contet of deletion, what does it mean?
- Hi there, your articles were deleted because it was decided that they were about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content that wasn't significant enough for the wikipedia encyclopedia, if you feel they were you can raise your concerns with a member of admin, beware that recreating these articles may get you banned from editing. Please see Wikipedia:Deletion review for more info on requesting undeletion of an article. Andyreply 11:08, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- If you can recreate the article and cite reliable sources to assert the notability of the subject, please do so, but do not recreate it as it was before. Melsaran 11:10, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
{{helpme}} yes i did put a hangon tag. and in that tag, i wrote 'Live video streaming solutions are emerging on US and EU markets.Netineo's 'HD' live video streaming on Internet is the first time Internet industry propose such a slogan which symbolises the end of 'HD can only be on TV'. And this guy, whose name is Philippe Bornstein, is the CEO of Netineo. '. Thanks a lot for your reply
- You may want to re-create the articles in question in your user space. For instance, you could create User:Iceonme/Philippe Bornstein in your private user space. It will then not be subject to speedy deletion, and you can ask other editors to look at it to make sure it will survive before moving it to the main article space. Oh, and per WP:USERFY, you can also ask an administrator to restore the text of the deleted articles to pages in your userspace. If you'd like to do this, go over to Wikipedia:Deletion review#Content review, and place a note in the "Content review" section asking for userification. Make sure to give the full names of your two articles. Cheers, Iknowyourider (t c) 14:16, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
{{helpme}} I put an article in my 'user page' before putting it in wikipedia, how do i know if this article is ok for publish or not?
- I have just had a look at it for you. You need to prove its notability before you create an article. Any more questions, feel free to contact me. Tiddly-Tom 14:22, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Notability of Philippe Bornstein
A tag has been placed on Philippe Bornstein, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. superβεεcat 07:58, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
