Hi. Before you do create any more articles on radio progs, could you please note the following:

  • The British spelling is "programme", not "program"
  • The phrase (Radio Show) is a common noun and should be lower case, ie. (radio show).

If you could note these two points, it will save other editors a bit of work. Thanks in advance. Deb 14:53, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Links, formatting & stubs

Hi, Iceberg716: It's ordinarily a small matter but given your substantial recent contributions, I thought I'd point out a few features you might find useful when creating new pages. Often in the first line of text in an article, the name of the subject (e.g., radio program) is given in bold text, which can be done by placing three apostrophes on either side of the words. Subjects on which there are other wikipedia articles should be provided with links (e.g. BBC Radio 4), which can be done by placing doubled brackets ("[") on either side of phrase. Finally, you can add stubs to the end of short articles to invite others to expand on them. A list of stubs is is available here. I've gone through a number of your earlier pages and added these features, so if you browse to them and click the edit this page button you can see how it works. Thanks! --Drtillberg 14:57, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

  • I noticed that the article Concrete Cow (radio show) appears to be internally inconsistent. There may be a typo. Best, --Drtillberg 01:39, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Celluloid Jukebox (radio show)

A tag has been placed on Celluloid Jukebox (radio show), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Non notable radio show

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NAHID 16:19, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Comedy's Coming Home (radio show

{{subst:nn-warn| A tag has been placed on Comedy's Coming Home (radio show), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NAHID 17:01, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
