[edit] Summary
A college basketball player is found on the floor of his room with a girl and while Sara and Greg investigate a nearby toilet explodes. Elsewhere, Catherine and Warrick investigate a blindfolded body found in the middle of a crop circle. Meanwhile, as it is a busy night Detective Vartann convinces Ecklie to return to the field, but the body goes missing from the autopsy room.
The episode finishes entertainingly with Doc Robbins checking the cooler to make sure the body is still there.
[edit] Critical analysis
The man in the 'crop circle' is a contestant in a fictious show called "Going All The Way" which specialises in Fear Factor-type stunts.
[edit] Continuity
Detective Vartann (Alex Carter) has appeared in numerous CSI episodes, debuting in "Grissom Versus the Volcano" and last seen in "Bang-Bang."
Nick teases Dave: "Crop circles? Come on, Super Dave. Wasn't the alien autopsy embarrassing enough?". He is referring to the autopsy in "Viva Las Vegas" when the 'alien' started making strange noises leading David to jump to otherworldly conclusions.
