The Icebreaker Admiral Makarov is a large Russian icebreaker.[1] She is operated by the Far East Shipping Company (FESCO). Completed in 1975, she is FESCO's oldest icebreaker. She and her sister ship Krasin, completed in 1976, are the largest of the five icebreakers in FESCO's fleet.
