Icebreaker is a Merino clothing designer and manufacturer based in Wellington, New Zealand. It was founded in 1995 by Jeremy Moon, and now supplies its clothing to 1500 stores over 22 countries.
Product Lines
Icebreaker Merino comes in several different weights. The 190 Superfine is the lightest layer, which are usually in a t-shirt or tank-top design, but could also be used an under layer. Next is the 200 Skin which has more of a thermal underwear look and consists of boxers, leggings and long sleeve shirts. The 260 bodyfit series are physically usable as either an under layer or over layer when combines with the 200 skin. The 320 is a very thick merino, usually made into sweater styles, or double layered to make toques and gloves.
