[edit] Please stop

While we are aware of the intention that honorifics generally be avoided in the title of articles, Baronets cannot have the suffix without their prefix. That is a solecism per SCB - hence Wikipedia:WikiProject_Peerage#Location_2.
In the discussion at User:Ford/proposals, even Ford does not propose ditching "Sir" for baronets.
Presumably you are referring to Wikipedia:Naming conventions (names and titles)#Other_non-royal_names. However, item #6 on that list supports the WikipiProjectPeerage's guidance on Baronets.
Many thanks.
Additionally Sir Gyro de Gearloose is the title of a cartoon - not an honorific.
Why not join Wikipedia:WikiProject_Baronetcies which could use some more help?
Please respond on this page to keep the thread together.
