[edit] Source; history

Even in just the first page of a google search on "World Amateur Billiards Championship" there are loads of articles and stuff that would make good sources for some additional details about this event. The IBSF site would probably also be a good bet. The article needs a history section as at the article on its professional counterpart. I've moved the article to a name that includes "IBSF", but the acronym-less variant exists as a redirect for any links that need to be made that pertain to a period before IBSF. After the history section is done, we can probably figure out what other acronym redirs need to exist, ie. so that it can be linked as the XYZ World Billiards Championship (for example) from articles that pertain to an era when the event was run by an organizations known as XYZ (in this example). That is, we want to avoid creating (or inspiring anyone to create) new articles for every phase of this event's organizational history. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 14:37, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Scoring

Some explanation needs to be given about the two radically different scoring methods. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 20:37, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
