I reverted this unexplained edit, which seems based on misconceptions.

"Extrajudicial" does not mean "illegal.

Whether the captive's detention is "consistent with the law of war" is highly controversial, and should not be asserted as an established fact. Geo Swan (talk) 03:35, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
