Ibresinsky District

Ibresinsky District (Russian: Ибресинский райо́н; Chuvash: Йĕпреç районĕ) is a district (raion) of the Chuvash Republic, Russia. The district's administrative center, the urban-type settlement of Ibresi, is located 114 kilometers (71 mi) from Chuvashia's capital city of Cheboksary. District's population: 28,377 (2002 Census); 28,471 (1989 Census).

The district was formed on September 5, 1944. It is situated in the central part of Chuvashia, bordering Vurnarsky and Kanashsky Districts in the north, Komsomolsky District in the east, Batyrevsky and Alatyrsky Districts in the south, and Shumerlinsky and Poretsky Districts in the west.

The Head of the District Administration is Anatoly Ivanovich Petrov.
