Ibrahimpatnam

Ibrahimpatnam is a Mandal in Rangareddy District and an assembly constituency headquarters located close to the newly built international airport of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. Ibrahimpatnam derived its name from erstwhile Veerapatnam. The town is famous for its Lake (Ibrahimpatnam Cheruvu) built by Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah in the style of Vijayanagara.
